Ace Flooring History
The beginning of the road
ACE Flooring Co. was established during the year 1985 as an addition to an already existing construction company in Chicago, IL.
1990
George and Alex, two existing employees at that time, bought ACE Flooring from its previous owners. The new, small company owners decided that ACE Flooring’s sole focus will be to provide complete, specialized hardwood floor services to the Chicagoland area.
1992
During the year 1992, ACE Flooring moved from a small home office to a commercial building in Park Ridge, IL where its first showroom opened, allowing interested clients to view hardwood floor options and ask questions. After a couple of years, George decided to move out of Illinois, and therefore Alex remained as the sole owner of the company.
Expanding the business
Throughout the next several years, Alex, along with 8 employees, continued putting in lots of hours, completing small and large jobs in a timely manner, to the highest quality. The business grew beyond our limited space, so in 2002 ACE Flooring Co. expanded the showroom and warehouse to a unit adjacent to the
existing one, where we have been since.
2022
ACE Flooring continues its passion for wood floors, with decades of experience that includes working with leading designers, architects and contractors. We were honored to have some of our quality showcased in the February 2014 edition of the magazine House Beautiful. We continue to create the most high-end looks,
unique designs, with customer satisfaction guarantee.
